Applied Behavior Analyst for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced Applied Behavior Analyst to join our team at In Flight, Inc. as a BCBA Behavior Specialist.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing behavioral support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Main Responsibilities:- Write and implement behavior support plans to address behavioral concerns and promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and training to staff members on behavior analysis principles and interventions.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and functional behavioral analyses to identify potential areas of concern.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive behavioral data tracking systems.
- Stay up-to-date with OPWDD regulations and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
- National Board Certification in behavior analysis (Board Certified Behavior Analyst- BCBA) and a Master's degree in behavior analysis or a closely related field.
- OPWDD approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development.
- 3-5 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans.
- Experience in Risk Assessment Recognizing and characterizing risks and evaluating their significance to support decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of principles of learning and training methods based upon empirically supported/best practices approaches (i.e., behavior therapy, cognitive-behavior therapy, applied behavior analysis).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex behavioral information to stakeholders.
- A competitive salary of $67,500 per year.
