Position Overview

The role of the Travel Ultrasound Technologist involves providing high-quality ultrasound services in various healthcare settings. This position is crucial for supporting obstetric patients, particularly those classified as high-risk.

Certification Requirements
  • Equipment: GE
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • Certifications: RDMS-OB, Nuchal Translucency
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on obstetric patients, focusing on those with complex medical conditions.
  • Perform a variety of procedures including anatomy scans, fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and amniocentesis.
  • Engage with patients in outpatient settings, particularly in high-risk obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Maintain a high standard of care while adhering to safety protocols, including potential exposure to infectious patients.
Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in ultrasound technology.

Additional Information
  • Certifications must be obtained prior to commencing employment.
  • ACLS, ARC, and Military Training Network certifications are recognized.
