POSITION SUMMARY

The Ladders is in search of a Vice President, Corporate Affairs with a strong background in corporate communications. This role requires a proactive individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and a comprehensive understanding of integrated media. The Vice President will oversee corporate-focused initiatives, providing strategic counsel on narrative development, executive visibility, thought leadership, internal communications, media relations, and reputation management. Additionally, this role involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to new business development efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the execution of multiple client programs, managing budgets and strategic plans.
  • Maintain regular client communication, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, and media specialists.
  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted expert in the industry, deeply understanding client businesses.
  • Propose innovative ideas and improvements to exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee team staffing and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the professional development of junior team members through mentorship.
  • Engage in agency growth initiatives and assist with new business pursuits.
  • Exhibit financial proficiency in budgeting, billing, and staffing management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, with a blend of agency and in-house roles.
  • Expertise in corporate communications, particularly in sustainability and internal communications.
  • Experience in integrated teams and campaigns.
  • Familiarity with reputation and crisis management.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
