Educational Therapist for K-12 Students

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Educational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As an Educational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of students in grades K-12 and providing high-quality speech therapy services.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders and be licensed in Connecticut. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of students in grades K-12 and provide individualized speech therapy services
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of speech therapy services into the educational setting
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Current licensure in Connecticut
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
