About the Role

Roundhouse Communities LLC is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and repair of our residential properties. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, groundkeepers, or housekeepers, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and training, and creating and managing daily schedules.
  • Facilities Oversight: Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and code violations, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance projects, including work orders, preventative maintenance, invoices, maintenance schedules, and employee trainings.
  • Capital Projects: Oversee large-scale capital projects and renovation schedules to ensure goals are met, and coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage maintenance inventory based on property needs, while staying within budget.
  • Communication: Communicate and share information with the Community Manager regarding overall property maintenance condition, status, and staff.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation as scheduled and snow removal when required.
Requirements
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Three years of experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
