Position Overview:

In the role of Shop Supervisor, you will oversee operations at a Truck Care Center, which provides essential light mechanical and tire services to the Commercial Trucking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to foster long-term sales and profitability growth.
  • Ensure the financial success of the center.
  • Maintain effective communication across the center while collaborating closely with the General Manager.
  • Provide assistance in technical areas as necessary.
  • Manage inventory effectively.
  • Support the training, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Coordinate daily operations by assigning specific tasks and responsibilities to associates and ensuring accountability.
  • Uphold the principle of 'Service Excellence - Always' to achieve the service objectives of the center and its clientele.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and practices.
  • Execute other duties as assigned by management.
  • Engage in various manual tasks for extended periods, which may involve lifting commercial tires and wheels, as well as standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in problem-solving and repair work (service and/or management experience is essential).
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle required for the position and ability to meet commercial driver qualification standards.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
