Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency vehicles and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • State certification as Paramedic
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paramedic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of State of Georgia Department of Public Health Protocols and Scope of Practice for Paramedics
  • Experience with emergency vehicle operation and area of operations
  • Maintains good physical fitness
