Paramedic ED Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our ER team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. Our department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies, including multiple trauma cases, cardiac, neurological, and pediatric emergencies, orthopedic injuries, obstetrical and gynecological cases, and other emergencies.
You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family for each other and our patients and their families. As a Paramedic ED, you will be responsible for practicing, developing, and endorsing customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement patient care and teaching based on a total assessment and the age of the patient.
- Evaluate and document patient response; monitor and recognize changes in physiological and psychosocial status; take appropriate action based on assessment of the patient.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system.
Requirements:
- State of Florida Paramedic License
- BLS - AHA Healthcare Provider
- PALS certification
- ACLS certification
- One (1) year of experience preferred
- Knowledge of body substance isolation
