Our Corporate Accounts Receivable division is in search of a proactive and enthusiastic accountant or associate accountant. This position will involve supporting a team of accounting professionals in the daily and monthly processing and reporting of accounts receivable for our property and casualty sectors. You will gain experience with accounting software systems and analytical tools, conduct accounting reconciliations, and perform system testing to ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

Compensation Overview

The salary range for the associate accountant role is $60,000 - $65,000 annually, while the accountant position ranges from $65,000 - $70,000 annually. Salary determination will be based on the candidate's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on individual and company performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Ensuring synchronization of transactions across various billing applications and financial reporting software
  • Conducting financial analyses and supporting accounting functions
  • Preparing daily and monthly accounting entries and validating banking transactions
  • Testing and validating system change requests
  • Performing bad debt analysis and account reconciliations
  • Participating in accounting and enterprise-level projects to maintain our competitive advantage

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Eager to learn and proficient in using accounting and analytical software systems
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communicators with strong verbal and written skills

  • Adaptable and open to change

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 0 to 2+ years of relevant accounting experience or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred: Previous internship experience in accounting
