Our mission is to deliver exceptional care to the individuals we support by employing and training a compassionate, professional team that implements structured support plans centered on wellness.

We are currently seeking Behavioral Support Technicians to assist individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, including those with dual diagnoses and forensic considerations. Our Enhanced Behavior Support Home (EBSH) has openings for the following shifts:

  • (Thursday-Monday) 7:00am-3:00pm
  • (Friday-Tuesday) 7:00am-3:00pm
  • (Friday-Tuesday) 3:00pm-11:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to the personal needs of each resident, including assistance with grooming, bathing, hygiene, and communication of individual requirements.
  • Support the goals and needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications while adhering to the Seven Rights for verification.
  • Provide supervision during community outings and recreational activities.
  • Prepare meals and ensure food storage complies with regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the home and surroundings.
  • Document data and maintain records regarding residents' health, progress, and special incidents, in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Utilize Nonviolent Crisis Intervention techniques to manage challenging behaviors.
  • Advocate for residents and maintain respectful communication with them and all relevant parties.
  • Understand the organizations and support systems related to residents' lives.
  • Adhere to the dress code and safety protocols.
  • Participate in all required training sessions and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills with a respectful and positive demeanor towards residents, colleagues, and visitors.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in providing direct supervision or specialized services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Good health, verified through a physical screening, including tuberculosis testing.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
  • Maintain RBT certification under BCBA supervision.
Compliance Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Health screening and TB clearance.
  • Fingerprinting and DOJ/FBI criminal record clearance.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
