Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute job responsibilities adhering to the highest safety protocols, including the reporting of all incidents and irregularities.
  • Diagnose and maintain pressure transmitters, motor-operated valves (MOVs), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and other control systems/components.
  • Diagnose and maintain communication devices and components.
  • Accurately and promptly complete necessary documentation (e.g., foreign line crossings).
  • Utilize loop diagrams and specification sheets for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control devices.
  • Interpret pipeline alignment drawings, site electrical schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Supervise contractors responsible for maintaining electrical infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for all tasks.
  • Lead safety discussions and meetings.
  • Conduct various mathematical calculations related to over/short reconciliations.
  • Identify unusual operational conditions and initiate appropriate emergency response protocols.
Candidate Profile

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to uphold a consistent safe work ethic.
  • Capability to organize daily work activities in line with established company and regulatory standards.
  • Effective communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Strong organizational skills (documentation, workspace management, etc.).
  • Proficient in operating hand tools and other pipeline equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Understanding of emergency response protocols and Department of Transportation (DOT) motor carrier regulations.
  • Willingness to participate in required training programs.
  • Able to work collaboratively in small team settings.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, under diverse weather conditions.
  • Possession of safe driving skills and a valid driver's license.
  • Availability to respond to callouts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an associate degree.
