About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Limited License Psychologist to join our team at Heron Ridge Associates, part of the Optum family of businesses. As a clinician-led care organization, we are revolutionizing the way clinicians work and live.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, fostering strong provider-patient relationships and ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Lead crisis intervention methods and develop functional assessments and behavioral intervention plans to support patients' well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to our organization's policies and standards.

Requirements
  • Master's Level Psychologist with active LLP licensure in Michigan.
  • Ability to provide a minimum of 15 scheduled visits per week, ensuring a high level of patient engagement and satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, with a focus on providing direct psychotherapy services.
  • Proficiency in using computers for professional communication and medical documentation, including Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs).
  • Demonstrated history of professional growth and development, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients quickly and effectively.
