Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled backend developer to join our Employee Technology Platform Solutions team. In this role, you will be tasked with the design and development of an enterprise self-service portal aimed at providing technology information, solutions, and assistance for common issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean and scalable code utilizing .NET programming languages.
  • Engage in story refinement, defining requirements, and estimating stories.
  • Conduct backend development using HTML pages.
  • Implement solutions and perform unit testing to meet defined acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
  • Support the team in overcoming technical challenges related to story work.
  • Enhance existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify issues/errors, and determine root causes.
  • Document and communicate necessary information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
  • Participate in and guide team members through delivery/release (CI-CD) events, including branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, and release notes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in backend application development using .NET Core/MVC and .NET Framework.
  • 3-5 years of experience in application development with C# and Visual Studio.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with SQL databases.
  • Extensive experience in building API-based architectures.
  • Experience in developing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with React, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, JSON, and HTML5.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, utilizing Jira for task management.
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket for source control.
  • Comfortable working independently on backend tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
