About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Renovation / Construction Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties, including occupied buildings.

This role requires experience with remodeling projects that involve plumbing alterations, effective collaboration with other trades, and adherence to safety and code standards. Our ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of plumbing systems and related materials, as well as experience with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial spaces.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of $30-$45 per hour, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive health insurance, a retirement savings plan, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, some of which are occupied.
  2. Manage plumbing alterations or installations in remodeling projects.
  3. Collaborate with other trades on construction plumbing projects.
  4. Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective, efficient solutions for clients.
  5. Adhere to OSHA safety regulations while working on-site.
  6. Work with a variety of materials, including cast iron, PVC, CPVC, schedule 80 PVC, PEX, CSST, steel, copper sweat, and press fittings.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
  8. Lift heavy materials as needed and meet physical demands of the job.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial renovation or construction plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and related materials (cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, etc.).
  • Experience with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial spaces.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
