We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Cancer Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy to patients with cancer. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy to patients with cancer, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
- Prepare and position patients for treatment, using anatomic parameters to ensure accurate targeting.
- Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver patient treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Licensure/Certification: BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date. One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (RT) specializing in Radiation Therapy, or Medical Sonographer.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
