We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain quality MRI images of patients
- Comply with MRI safety guidelines and utilize protective equipment as needed
- Operate MRI scanner safely and competently
- Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications
- Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS
- Verify proper charges and referring physicians' orders
- Rendere patient care in a professional and courteous manner
- Prepare examination rooms for MRI procedures
- Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain room cleanliness
- Assist with PACS clean up and complete verification process
- Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Current CPR certification
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification within six months of hire
- Minimum of one year as a certified MRI technologist
