Job Title: Electrical Engineer III

At Tesco Controls, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electrical and control systems for our water/wastewater industry projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and control systems for water/wastewater industry projects
  • Interpret customer specifications and plans to define engineering scope and deliverables
  • Complete all phases of the engineering process to ensure accurate and timely completion of manufacturing drawings
  • Develop detailed engineering documentation, including single-line and three-line diagrams, panel elevations, general arrangements, and wiring schematics
  • Lead and mentor engineering and designer teams to convert engineering concepts into working schematics
  • Responsible for engineering schedule, including the on-time release of equipment specifications, bills of materials, and customer documentation
  • Support the Project Manager to address technical concerns with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide engineering expertise/support during estimation, sales, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering design principles and methodologies
  • Working and current knowledge of codes and industry standards
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in electrical and controls design
  • At least 10 years of experience in designing and analyzing automation systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a regulated industry is preferred
