About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Carlex Glass Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment and facilities in a safe and timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot defective equipment to identify causes and make necessary repairs.
  • Follow instructions from maintenance supervisors and complete daily walk-through inspections on equipment.
  • Track time and complete work orders to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with troubleshooting production process issues and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervision, staff, and operators to update them on equipment maintenance issues.
  • Promote a team environment and work in a safety-first manner adhering to all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree in a maintenance or technical field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
