About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Aide to join our team at Pawtucket Falls Health Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and process laundry, linen, and garments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform tasks such as folding and delivering residents' laundry on a daily basis.
  • Load and empty washers and dryers, ensuring optimal cleaning and hygiene standards.
  • Assist nursing staff with cleaning out residents' closets and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our laundry services.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility.
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
  • Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
  • Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors.
