Job Summary

We are seeking a Laundry Specialist to join our team. As a Laundry Specialist, you will be responsible for sorting and processing laundry, linen, and garments, as well as assisting nursing staff with cleaning residents' closets. This is a weekend shift position.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process laundry, linen, and garments.
• Perform tasks such as folding and delivering residents' laundry on a daily basis.
• Load and empty washers and dryers.
• Assist nursing staff with cleaning out residents' closets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful as a Laundry Specialist, you will need to have:

• Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions.
• Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $35,000 - $40,000, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a range of opportunities for advancement.
