Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Veteran Care Specialist. In this role, you will conduct independent medical assessments on veterans who have filed claims for disability benefits with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical evaluations of veterans to determine the extent of their disabilities.
- Review electronic medical records and perform focused physical exams to gather information for assessment purposes.
- Document exam findings using a web-based portal.
- Work independently to manage caseloads and meet productivity requirements.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
- A competitive hourly rate of $65+ per hour.
