Job DescriptionThe Licensed Practical Nurse - Quality Assurance and Training Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of care provided to clients. This position involves conducting monthly scheduled and unscheduled audit visits, providing technical assistance during monitoring visits, identifying issues and barriers for consistency in achieving measurable goals, and coordinating resources necessary to implement services needed by the client.
This role also includes training support for staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with directors, administrators, managers, and service providers.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator typically works out in the field, traveling to and from remote locations. They will be required to conduct audits, provide training, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Must be a licensed LPN
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certificates required
- One year of auditing experience, quality assurance standards/practices, and researching community resources
