About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Filtration Specialist to join our team at Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI). As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of field operations to a high standard in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Work with safety as a top priority to minimize accidents and incidents, and generate field Job Safety Analysis reports.
  • Assist with maintenance on all equipment and continually improve personal knowledge and experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, good discipline, and respect for peers and superiors.
  • Utilize stop-work authority when an unsafe or unclear work situation is encountered.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Common knowledge of electronic and computer skills is required.
  • Working with high pressure and hazardous chemicals is a key aspect of this position.
  • Able to manage multiple, concurrent projects and willing to learn and share assignments.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ensures completion of at least one (1) Personnel Evaluation by a higher-ranking employee per month.
Requirements
  • Valid and current State Driver's License
  • TWIC CARD
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office
  • Professional demeanour and willingness to learn
  • Professional peer cooperation
  • Attention to detail (e.g. field notes, observations, etc.)
  • Must have ability to speak and read English
