We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Nurse Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our dialysis team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our dialysis services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess daily dialysis patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes for dialysis patients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of dialysis treatments and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including collection of data for the dialysis unit's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- Work with internal and external resources to maintain machine maintenance and partnership with home dialysis departments.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Minimum one year of registered nurse experience.
