About the Role
AnaVation LLC is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. This full-time position requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a SCI access with a polygraph. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading juniors, mentoring, planning development, and assigning tasks. The selected candidate must have experience working with modern computing paradigms and environments such as NoSQL systems, cloud computing, and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead software development teams and ensure timely project delivery
- Develop and implement software solutions that meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve results and act as a team representative/spokesperson
- Conduct rapid software prototyping to demonstrate and evaluate technologies in relevant environments

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in computer software development at the user and kernel level, computer programming, and/or digital forensics
- Minimum 7 years of intensive software development experience in modern languages such as C/C++ or Python
- Knowledge of commonly used languages such as Rust, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, Go, etc.
- Experience with end-to-end software development activities, including testing and deployment
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, version control systems, and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Gitlab)
- Working knowledge of agile software development practices and team design sessions
