System One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Mobile, AL. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our enterprise systems infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain network, file, and print services, as well as virtualization, hardware, and software support.
- Implement and troubleshoot enterprise-class IT solutions, including directory services, patch management, system backups, and SAN management.
- Interface with the helpdesk ticketing system, IT support entities, and end-users to resolve incidents and provide technical support.
- Implement and maintain system monitoring tools to ensure the integrity and availability of all IT server resources.
- Perform daily backup operations, including ensuring backups are successful and the proper disposition of media.
- Configure and manage new services and hardware as required to support break-fix activities or system projects.
- Participate in IT Change Management processes and compliance audit activities, including audit log collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical lead role for IT projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems, including Active Directory and Exchange.
- Experience managing virtualized and M365 environments, as well as VDI technologies (VMware Horizon) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Experience with patch management software, managing server backup and recovery tools, with preferred experience in Veeam or Commvault.
- Proficiency with performance analysis tools to monitor systems, including performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
- Ability to assist with developing and participating in disaster recovery exercises.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and PDF software.
- Knowledge and understanding of ITIL concepts, including Change Management.
