Job Overview
The Custodial Specialist is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the designated facility. This role involves executing daily responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, focusing on both collaborative and individual cleaning efforts.
Effective communication with the supervisor is essential to ensure all tasks are accomplished efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of the assigned areas.
-Adhere to job responsibilities as designated by the supervisor.

  • Engage in cross-training across various cleaning sectors.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Notify the supervisor regarding any malfunctioning equipment and replenish supplies as necessary.
Potential duties may include:

  • Floor sweeping
  • Floor mopping
-Dusting
-Restroom sanitation
-Trash disposal
-Vacuuming

  • Disinfect high-touch areas and surfaces
  • Clean glass doors and windows
  • Polish drinking fountains
  • Maintain kitchens and break rooms
  • Sweep and mop stairwells
  • Wipe down handrails in stairwells
  • Clean and polish elevators
  • Organize and maintain the custodial closet
*A specific cleaning schedule will be provided, but the tasks listed above are standard across the company and may be assigned at any time.
