Role Objective:
The Box Production Machine Specialist is tasked with the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Box-Making Machine to fulfill assigned production jobs in accordance with job ticket specifications while achieving production targets. This position is crucial for ensuring product quality and precision while maintaining comprehensive production records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively operate the Box-Making Machine.
- Load and prepare materials for the box-making process as per job specifications.
- Conduct initial inspections of produced boxes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Continuously oversee production runs to confirm quality and identify any machine malfunctions or variations in product quality.
- Maintain detailed records of production output.
- Document all required information following established procedures.
- Transport completed materials to designated storage areas.
- Perform cleaning of equipment and workspaces as necessary.
- Execute routine maintenance on machinery as needed.
- Comply with all safety regulations and workplace protocols.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience operating a Box-Making Machine; 2 years preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure, work with fractions and decimals, and perform basic math operations.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Capability to stand for extended periods during an 8+ hour shift.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
- Strong organizational skills for managing tasks and materials.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- General understanding and adherence to safety standards.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude towards both internal and external stakeholders.
