Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team at StoryPoint of Romeoville. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room personnel to provide timely and courteous service to our residents and guests.
  • Ensure efficient operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Train and develop dining room employees in proper service etiquette and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness and inventory table linens and other dining room supplies.
  • Assign work tasks and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to apply good judgment in understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Maintains a high energy level and is a self-motivator.
  • Carries incredibly high standards in their work.
