Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Marine Systems / Outboard Technician to deliver maintenance and repair services for a variety of vessels. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of Mercury Marine outboard engines, vessel systems, and marine electronics, along with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on boats powered by Mercury Marine outboards, typically ranging from 16' to 45'.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on Mercury Marine outboard engines and associated vessel components.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while executing job duties.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional appearance, as well as a clean working environment.
  • Possess basic SAE and METRIC tools necessary for the job.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Preferred: Capability to maneuver a boat and/or truck with a boat trailer.
  • Preferred: Forklift certification.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays. Expected weekly hours range from 36 to 44.
