Outboard Marine Tech

We are looking for a skilled Marine Systems / Outboard Technician to join our team and provide maintenance and repair services for our customer’s vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Mercury Marine outboard engines, vessel systems, and marine electronics, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. The successful candidate will also be able to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals, and will be able to use specialized tools to perform repairs.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on Mercury Marine outboard powered boats in the 16’ to 45’ class.

Perform routine maintenance on Mercury Marine outboard engines and other vessel components.

Comply with all safety regulations when performing job functions.

Maintain a clean and professional appearance and working environment.

Must posses basic SAE and METRIC tools.

Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Ability to maneuver a boat and/or truck and boat trailer is preferred but not required

Forklift certification is preferred but not required

Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional Saturdays. 36 to 44 hours per week.
