We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a leading provider of healthcare services, we are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, documenting observations and assessments, and demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Respond promptly to patient concerns and provide emotional support to residents and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in geriatric care and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents, with a focus on providing person-centered care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of residents and the facility.
