Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy School
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
  • Basic mathematical skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • NABPLEx eligibility within 90 days of employment
  • Capability to manage high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous pharmacy experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Ability to foster trust and respect among colleagues
  • Accurate and efficient entry of patient information into systems
  • Preparation of specified products following best practices
  • Fulfillment of professional duties related to prescription processing in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Adherence to proper staging procedures
  • Maintenance of records regarding prescription volume
  • Conducting necessary production audits
  • Understanding and compliance with shrink guidelines
  • Organization and cleanliness of workstations
  • Creating an inclusive environment for all associates
  • Professional interaction with coworkers
  • Reinforcement of safety protocols and reporting unsafe conditions
  • Preventive maintenance of equipment and timely reporting of repair needs
  • Reporting of employee accidents or near misses
  • Notification of safety risks or illegal activities
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
