Key Responsibilities- Perform Diagnostic Sonographic Examinations: Utilize ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data.
- Operate Ultrasound Equipment: Make quality images and perform studies in required modalities.
- Provide Training and Guidance: Train and guide Ultrasound Technology students in clinical settings.
- Assess Patient Information: Effectively assess patients' information and status, following appropriate procedures accordingly.
- Direct and Monitor Student Clinical Training: Direct and monitor student clinical training, observing and guiding students to perform good ultrasound procedures.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform visual and manual quality control checks of radiographic equipment, reporting any malfunctions or missing/damaged equipment.
- Implement Patient Procedures: Independently implement patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
- Certificate from an Approved Ultrasound/Vascular Technology Education Program
- Registered or Registry Eligible to Take the Registry Exam (ARDMS)
- Preferred Licenses: Cardiovascular Credentl Int_CCI, Am Rgtry Diagnostic Med Sonographer
