A well-established Medical Center in New York has an immediate opening for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing sonography services in accordance with hospital standards and Federal, State, and Local regulations. The ideal candidate will have OB experience, be BLS certified, and possess ARDMS certification in Abdominal or Vascular Technology. Additionally, you will need to be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and have at least 3 years of working experience as a Registered Technologist in General Sonography. Effective communication with patients, patient family members, physicians, and other healthcare providers is essential. Experience with GE E10 and S8 ultrasound machines is a plus.
Requirements:
Must be a certified Ultrasound Technician
Must be BLS certified
ARDMS in Abdominal or Vascular Technology
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Registered Technologist in General Sonography with at least 3 years of working experience
Ability to work independently
Experience with GE E10 and S8 ultrasound machines
