Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all restrooms and break areas.
  • Conduct daily sweeping and damp mopping of all floor surfaces.
  • Respond promptly to spills and maintain a safe environment.
  • Manage waste disposal both inside and outside the facility.
  • Oversee the rotation and cleaning of dairy product shelves.
  • Regularly clean glass doors for dairy and frozen food sections.
  • Utilize designated equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the parking area.
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment and fixtures as necessary.
  • Clear snow and apply salt to sidewalks when required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and established procedures.
  • Uphold safety, fire prevention, and security standards.
  • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company expectations.
  • Foster a respectful and dignified workplace by treating all colleagues fairly.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Report any maintenance needs or repairs promptly.
  • Execute all assigned duties to a high standard.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and technical requirements.
  • Must meet minimum age criteria.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.
  • Frequent lifting and reaching, particularly with cleaning supplies.
  • Regular bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Capability to handle various cleaning materials safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. approximately half of the time.
  • Regularly push or pull weights up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Commitment to maintaining the cleanliness of the store and surrounding property.
  • Ensure the proper upkeep of all cleaning equipment used in this role.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
