We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Copeland, where you will play a key role in the design, development, and support of industry-leading measurement and analytical instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of automation solutions products
- Utilize electrical design and development tools to capture circuit design schematics, lay out printed circuit boards, and perform circuit simulations
- Perform electronic testing using common laboratory equipment
- Research and develop new ideas and technologies for implementation into our products
- Evaluate Emerson systems and electronic circuits to a functional block or component level
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Zero years of applicable experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Knowledge and experience using standard electrical test tools, including oscilloscopes, bench power suppliers, digital multimeters, and function generators
- Familiarity with Cadence Schematic Capture and PCB layout tools
- Familiarity with electronic simulation tools, such as PSpice
- Familiarity with data acquisition using LabView, C#
