Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Adult Psychiatric Crisis Stabilization Unit. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional psychiatric nursing care to patients in crisis, while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to patients in crisis, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and behavioral evaluations
- Develop and implement nursing interventions to promote patient safety and well-being
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Current Georgia or multi-state nursing license
- Previous psychiatric experience
- Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
- Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
- Ability to develop and implement patient care plans
