A reputable construction firm is in search of experienced concrete finishers in the Phoenix, AZ region. Ideal candidates will possess a solid background in commercial concrete work and a strong desire to contribute to our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks ranging from basic duties to advanced finishing work.
- Execute all flat, finished concrete tasks.
- Manage all responsibilities associated with pouring concrete, setting forms, and finishing surfaces.
- Conduct site preparation, rebar installation, and minimal formwork.
- Utilize tools such as bull floats and power concrete screeds.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; 4 years preferred.
- Experience in general labor within a commercial or residential concrete construction environment is advantageous.
- Proven expertise in concrete pouring, form setting, and finishing techniques.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with start times of 5 AM in summer and 6 AM in winter, concluding between 2 PM and 3 PM. Occasional Saturday work may be required based on project needs.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate ranging from $20 to $35, based on experience.
Work Environment and Benefits:
- Candidates must be willing to travel daily to job sites (this is non-negotiable). Most projects are located in the Cave Creek/Scottsdale area.
- Team meetings will occur on-site, except for jobs requiring extended travel outside the valley. The majority of projects involve new custom mansion builds.
- Each concrete pour presents unique challenges, with some commercial work included.
- Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) are provided.
