Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with basic computer proficiency.
  • High energy and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents to foster a team-oriented environment.
  • A solid understanding of child development principles.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and health screening.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to walk frequently, manipulate objects, communicate effectively, and possess specific vision capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a group childcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development and contemporary educational methodologies.
  • Creative and methodical approach to teaching.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine affection for children.
  • Strong communication and time management abilities.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Completion of introductory courses in Childcare, Infant and Toddler care, and relevant educational strategies (assistance in obtaining these may be provided).
  • Preferred qualifications include Level 7 on the Registry or a degree in Early Childhood Education.
