Key Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Building: Identify and pursue opportunities to build and deepen customer relationships by actively listening and engaging with customers to understand their financial needs and goals.
- Customer Service and Sales: Offer Country Bank solutions and educate customers on products, promotions, and digital services to assist customers in reaching their financial goals.
- Account Management: Open various types of new accounts, including consumer, business, and retirement accounts, and ensure proper identification is collected for various entity types.
- Transaction Processing: Process financial transactions for customers, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, issuing cashier's checks, and entering wire transfers.
- Cash Handling: Balance a cash box, cash recycler, and vault daily while maintaining an excellent balancing record in compliance with the Bank's established Banker Performance Criteria.
- Loan Origination: Originate and close home equity lines of credit and consumer loans.
- Banking Center Operations: Follow Bank procedures to independently open and close Banking Centers daily.
- Team Collaboration: Model and promote the Country Bank Experience for all staff, participate in and facilitate role-play and skill-building exercises, and build long-lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and community members.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of customer service or sales experience, with work experience in the banking and/or finance industry preferred.
- Skills: Strong customer service and sales skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and bilingual in Spanish preferred.
This position is in an office environment with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis are expected. Minimal physical effort is required but could include repetitive motion of wrists and fingers, talking and hearing, and handling of light materials and supplies.
