Job Title: 6th Grade Math Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced 6th Grade Math Teacher to join our team at North 5/6 Middle. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to 6th grade students and will be expected to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Summary:

The 6th Grade Math Teacher will be responsible for teaching mathematics to 6th grade students, including algebra, geometry, and other math concepts. The teacher will also be responsible for creating lesson plans, grading assignments, and communicating with parents and guardians.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach mathematics to 6th grade students
  • Create lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
  • Communicate with parents and guardians
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
  • Ohio State Department of Education License Appropriate for the Position
  • Experience teaching mathematics to 6th grade students
