Job Summary

We are seeking qualified candidates to teach as Adjunct Instructors in the Division of Technology and Liberal Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching online and traditional in-person courses, providing instruction and conducting classes in accordance with the college's philosophy and within the scope of a defined course of study.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct online and traditional in-person courses, including daytime and evening classes.
  • Provide instruction and conduct classes in accordance with the college's philosophy and within the scope of a defined course of study.
  • Help students with coursework and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Prepare, distribute, and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department and divisional policies.
  • Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote student learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Submit final grades and all other required documents and reports according to established deadlines.
  • Utilize the college's learning management system to create course content.
Requirements

Required:

  • A master's degree or qualifying terminal degree in the field, or appropriate tested experience.
  • For master's degree required academic programs, candidate must possess 18 graduate semester hours for instructor credentialing.
  • For qualifying terminal degree academic areas or tested experience, the completed degree and industry experience is required.

Preferred:

  • Previous teaching experience.
