Job Title: Assembly Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Specialist to join our team at Dogwood Industries. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Accurately use measuring devices, including squares and tape measures
  • Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements
  • Follow instructions and execute assigned duties
  • Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience with general trade skills for siding/roofing/metalworking or assembly
  • Ability to select the proper tool for the task and ensure proper operation
  • Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment
  • Participation in the development of processes for repeatable execution of tasks
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

The physical demands of this job include full range of mobility in upper and lower body, ability to reach overhead, work in various positions, and use hands to handle objects. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $34.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
