Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Assist patients with their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, according to hospital procedures.
- Assist with Ambulation and Mobility**: Safely transport patients using various types of equipment and ambulation devices, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Document Patient Information**: Accurately document vital signs, weights, activity, intake, and outputs, as well as ADL care provided to patients in the computer system.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment**: Restock rooms, maintain a clean and safe environment, and follow established infection control policies to prevent the spread of infection.
- Education**: Must be actively enrolled in high school or equivalent program with a CNA certificate or have a high school diploma or equivalent with no CNA certification.
- Experience**: No prior experience required; training provided.
- License/Certification**: Must attend UPHSL Nursing Assistant training or completion of training in nursing school that covers nursing assistant type duties. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of hire.
