About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfort working around blood and needles
  • Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with experience in healthcare, including certifications such as BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
