Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work closely with our experienced therapists and support staff to provide high-quality services to students in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement occupational therapy programs and services to students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including adaptive equipment training and assistive technology
  • Document student progress and communicate with parents and educators
Requirements:
  • 1 year of verifiable experience as a COTA within the last 3 years
  • Valid COTA credential/license or in process in state of practice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced school environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
