Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Design Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. The successful candidate will design structural systems for various construction types and industries, working closely with project managers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project design, calculations, and assessment reports
  • Analyze existing structures and develop drawings or specifications
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Assist in project coordination and meetings with internal and external team members
  • Review project submittals and shop drawings
  • Visit construction sites to observe practices and provide on-site observation
  • Organize field data for analysis and problem-solving
  • Interact with higher-level engineers and design technicians
  • Attend client, architect, and contractor meetings
  • Leverage Structural Design Software, such as RAM Structural Systems, ETBAS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and TEKLA
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 0-2 years of related experience or Master's in Civil Engineering
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • EIT preferred
