Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operator to join our team at Kelly Services. As a Logistics Operator, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently handling computer equipment in our IT Fulfillment Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, monitor, and distribute all incoming and outgoing inventory and IT equipment.
  • Receive and record all incoming IT equipment and materials from multiple couriers and distribute accordingly.
  • Pack, prepare shipping information, and prioritize IT equipment for shipment by multiple couriers to multiple locations.
  • Pack, process, and verify documentation for the return of IT equipment to vendors, including leased equipment.
  • Communicate as needed to vendor, business, and courier for proper processing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Pack, prepare, and prioritize IT equipment for on-time shipment of orders and communicate issues to vendors, sender, and management.
  • Perform receiving, material handling, warehousing, and distribution operation activities within the Fulfillment Center.
  • Audit information and quantities on all documentation against shipment or receipt, including computer hardware and peripherals, and indicate any discrepancies.
  • Handle issuing and tracking RMAs, salvage, and end-of-lease processing of computer equipment.
  • Perform warranty replacements for laptop bags, printers, docking stations, monitors, and Plantronics headsets, utilizing vendor websites to place requests and track replacements.
  • Utilize the Services Now request system to fulfill tickets based on fulfillment/hot swap requests, including reaching out to customers to confirm shipping addresses and asking additional questions as needed.
  • Manage and maintain all computer and peripheral inventory within the warehouse, including monthly site scans to validate proper stock audits and ordering additional inventory to meet demand.
  • Test all returned monitors, docking stations, MiFi devices, and peripheral cables to add to deployable inventory once functionality is validated.

Requirements

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to use Material Handling Equipment (pallet jack, shrink wrapping machine, scanner).
  • Good communication and written skills.
  • Basic computer skills and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
