About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN Supervisor to lead our Hospital Float Staffing Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating unit staffing, ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate unit staffing to ensure effective patient care
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts
  • Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required
